Dressed Dolls

Sweet Mary Alice

1/12th scale miniature figure.  Original sculpture by Gina Bellous.
This sweet lady would be a petite 5 1/2" tall if standing.  She has a lot of detail
for such a small doll.  Mary Alice is made from silky smooth porcelain.  She has light brown eyes
and a lovely, realistic, china painted face.  Her hair is a medium chestnut brown, 
with wispy bangs and soft tendrils of hair that frame her tiny face.
She is costumed in an Edwardian inspired dress made of fine, cotton, batiste 
in shades of aubergine (muted purple), lavender, 
& sage on a pale citron (celery green) background..  
The tiny floral print was hand designed and is of perfect scale.  
Her dress is trimmed in antique cotton laces, antique black silk cord trim & silk ribbons.
She has loads of matching batiste ruffles.  The draping and folds on the dress are very realistic.
Mary Alice wears the most decadent handmade "straw" hat with loads of flowers, feathers,
roses, silk ribbons, antique lace, tiny beads and Austrian crystals.
