What a sweet little gal. She looks so wistful!
This cutie is a one of a kind hand sculpted original doll by doll artist
Vicki Gunnell. I do not think she is making dolls anymore.
She is hand sculpted of Cernit. She has hand blown glass eyes
in a violet color. Her wig is soft curly mohair in the palest strawberry blond
She wears a dress made of a mixture of antique cotton laces & newer fabrics.
She has a gorgeous handmade hat adorned with lace,
lavender silk ribbon, flowers & trims. It is a mixture of old and new materials.
She holds a dolly (included) that is a vintage doll with sleep eyes, also dressed
in old fabrics and lace. She is seated in a medium slate blue chair (included).
She has been kept in a case and is in perfect condition. I have seen dolls
of hers when you can find them, selling for 1600.00 and up!
