Okay, remember, from the
last page, we cut the curls
in long lengths or in half.
|

Hold it between your fingers,
and use your thumb to
pull down on it gently. |
|
|
|
|

Pull down on it to stretch it
as you pull it apart.
This helps to keep it
from getting frizzy.
|

After you pull down on it
with one hand, use the other
hand to gently separate
the curls into waves.
See!!! Simple waves
without a pleater!

Using a needle tool or stylus
add a line of glue just off center
along the top of the dolls head.
It should run about halfway down
the back for this hairstyle.
Let it set for a few seconds to tack up a bit.
|

Gently lay the cut end section
of hair across this line of glue.
Press firmly to help the hair adhere
to the glue.
LEAVE IT TO DRY!
(very important to let the hair
dry between these steps.)
Go have a glass of water,
you should drink about 8 a day,
so now is a good time.
|
|

Now, carefully flip the hair over
to the other side.
PERFECT start to a nice part line.
|

Run another thin line of tacky glue
right alongside the new part line.
It can be close, but don't get
it all over the section of hair you
just flipped as it will ruin the part line.
Let it set again for a few seconds to tack up.
|
|

Now lay the hair across the glue line,
only this time be sure it is starting
on the opposite side.
Press firmly in place to adhere.
|

She is really starting to change her look.
I like her hair long and she would
be great with a long curly style,
but we are wigging her for our
hat tutorial so she needs
an appropriate hairdo.

LET IT
DRY !
If you are not ready for another glass of water, I am sure you can think of something to do.
