Be sure the very back edge
at neckline is secure.
If not, add a small line of
glue and press hair into place.
Fold hair up, and cut off
leaving about 3/4" "tail".

Fold ends up.
Secure with another
bit of glue.

Take a thin hank of hair.
Maybe about 1/4" thick.
You can either twist it until it
twists back on itself, or you
can just twist it into a bun
shape (my choice), and secure
with glue on underside.
Let dry and trim off ends so
you only have the bun section.

Glue bun to back of doll's head.

bun.
Also notice the tiny curls
added just behind the ears.
I hate to cover up ears when dolls
have them, so I place the curls
behind the doll's ears.

And here she is...
A simple yet elegant design that
is very well suited for a doll that
will be wearing a hat, or will be
in a housedress, or visiting toilette.
